Celebrating Our Students of the Month!
At Genie Academy, we believe in recognizing students who embody excellence—not just academically, but in character, attitude, and leadership. This month, we're incredibly proud to highlight six outstanding students who are shining examples of what it means to be part of our Genie family. Their hard work, positivity, and commitment to growth inspire everyone around them.
Tyler L. (Plainsboro)
Nominated by Coach Paola
Tyler first came to Genie unsure of his skills. But now, he is on the verge of acing the SATs! Not only does he persevere as we prepare for one of the most difficult exams he will ever take, but he also takes the extra step by volunteering at Genie Academy for hours. Every moment that Tyler is in the building, he makes sure to light up each room!
Aanya P. (East Brunswick)
Nominated by Coach Mark
Aanya works really hard and always has homework done. She's young, but is setting a good example for the younger students, including her little brother. She's very respectful and receptive to feedback.
Abhinav K. (South Plainfield)
Nominated by Coach Mark
Abhinav always works hard and is prepared for class. He is respectful of classroom rules and etiquette, and consistently shows up ready to give his best effort.
Dhriti P. (South Brunswick)
Nominated by Coach Paola
While she isn't my student, I have seen in my limited time with her that she is extremely determined to succeed. When she reaches a difficult concept, she relies on what she's learned to solve the problem independently. Her resilience is what I admire the most about her.
Shloka D. (Marlboro)
Nominated by Coach Mya
Shloka joined us last winter, and in the time since, she has grown into a student who truly stands out in all the right ways. Academically, her progress has been outstanding. She has worked her way above grade level in our curriculum, and that growth didn't happen by accident. Shloka shows up every single day on time, fully prepared, homework done, classwork complete, and genuinely excited to be there. She asks the kind of thoughtful, inquisitive questions that tell you a student is really thinking, not just going through the motions. Beyond her academics, Shloka brings something to this classroom that is hard to put into words. She is kind to her peers, respectful and warm to the adults around her, and the kind of presence that makes everyone around her feel welcome. A true role model in every sense. She is, simply put, a ray of sunshine in this classroom.
Sophia H. (Hillsborough)
Nominated by Coach Rima
Sophia is so smart, kind, and caring. She's an amazing classroom helper who takes on extra responsibility in the classroom. She's an eloquent speaker who asks insightful questions. She always offers great feedback to peers and helps them out. She always finishes her work first and then helps lead in the classroom. She's also so close to graduating the abacus program where she's been working incredibly hard to complete!
A Big Congratulations to All Our Students of the Month!
Thank you for showing us what it means to be focused, kind, and committed. We're proud of everything you've accomplished and excited to watch you continue to grow!
