Consonant Sounds: Exploring consonant sounds and how to pronounce them.
Long Vowels: Understanding long and short vowel sounds.

Double Consonants: Learning about double consonants in words.
K and CK Endings: Understanding when to use '-k' and '-ck' endings in spelling.

Consonant Blends: Recognizing consonant blends and breaking down words into smaller units.

Recognizing Sight Words: Learning common sight words used frequently in first-grade reading.
Matching Sight Words: Pairing written words with images or actions.
Sight Word Sentences: Building simple sentences with sight words.
Word Families and Rhyming: Exploring word families and rhyming sight words.
Story Time with Sight Words: Incorporating sight words into storytelling.
