Classes meet once a week for one to two hours, depending on your child's level. Groups are deliberately kept small, three to six students, so the teacher can give every writer individual feedback on each draft.

How soon will my child make progress?

Each child learns at a different speed. We encourage you to keep your child in the program for at least three months. That is long enough to see a real change in how they plan, draft and revise, and it shows in the portfolio of writing they build with us.

Will Genie Academy conflict with the way my child is taught at school?
