About Cassie
Hello everyone! I'm Coach Cassie. I hold a B.A. in English and a Minor in Creative Writing from Rutgers University, and I am currently pursuing an M.F.A in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. I bring not only a love for literature but also a deep understanding of how structure, language, and imagination can shape a student’s confidence and success. Before joining Genie, I mentored students, worked on editorial teams, and supported young writers in both academic and creative settings. From guiding peers through complex essays to evaluating and editing manuscripts, I’ve developed a sharp eye for detail and a deep appreciation for the learning process and the sharing of knowledge. Across all my work, I’ve remained passionate about helping students build the skills and mindset they need to thrive in the future!
