Celebrating Our Students of the Month!

At Genie Academy, we believe in recognizing students who embody excellence—not just academically, but in character, attitude, and leadership. This month, we’re incredibly proud to highlight six outstanding students who are shining examples of what it means to be part of our Genie family. Their hard work, positivity, and commitment to growth inspire everyone around them.

Reva P. (Plainsboro)

Nominated by Coach Sophia

Reva has displayed so much hard work in class. When I first had her in my class she was very shy and timid with her answers but since then she has started to blossom into a student who has become much more confident. Now when she comes to class, she actively tries to do extra classwork pages and push herself to learn more. Specifically, she has made a lot of improvement with her mental math, which was something that her mother wanted us to work together on. Additionally, during my last class with Reva, after we did meditation and chanted "I can do it", she told me that she has really been starting to feel that way and she feels like she really is getting better and better!

 Sanjay N. (South Brunswick)

Nominated by Coach Paola

I've known Agastya for about 2 years. He always strives to do his best while in class, asking questions and always accepting a challenge. Lately, Agastya has really been putting in the effort. He has been working diligently to plan and write complicated pieces, always striving to improve. I've never Agastya in a bad mood; he always comes in with a smile and manages to make everyone around him (students and coaches) smile along with him.

Misael J. (Marlboro)

Nominated by Coach Mya

He insists to understand what he is learning, always asks questions and follow up questions if still confused, challenges himself, extremely kind and motivating to others, tries his best, wants to make mom proud, homework always done unless really tricky

Elizabeth N. (South Plainfield)

Nominated by Coach Jessica

Elizabeth is a hard worker. She overcomes any obstacle with a smile. Her behavior is stellar and homework is always complete. She is an excellent student!

Haniya C. (East Brunswick)

Nominated by Coach Cassie

Since starting with me at Genie, Haniya needed one-on-one attention in order to stay on task. Over the past couple of months, especially in July, she has become so independent! In the past three weeks, she has been able to work quietly, stay on track, and complete her work all on her own. I can see her excitement when she finishes a page by herself, and she’s grown eager to prove just how independent she can be. This was a big concern for parents, so I am so excited to see her improve so immensely in that area.

Mohit N. (Hillsborough)

Nominated by Coach Evan

Mohit has improved with his class behavior, focus, and writing prowess. He is completing benchmarks at home and at school.
