Reading Genie Online Writing Contest for Grades 1-7! Win Prizes.
Dear Parents,
We are happy to announce a weekly writing contest, open to all students. Each week’s winner will get a prize. The overall winner will get a grand prize when our centers open. The students will be grouped together according to their grade level:
- Pre-K through Grade 1
- 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade
- 4th & Fifth Grade
- Grades 6 and beyond
The contest will take place biweekly on Saturdays at 3:00pm and the students will have one hour to respond to the given prompt. Each week will feature a new prompt so repeat participation is encouraged. Responses will be evaluated by our teachers in real time using rubrics.

Competitors will be sent a link to the Google Meet the day of the competition. Once the competition begins, students will receive a link to the prompt.
