Small-group math classes for Pre-K through 8th grade, taught by a coach who knows your child by name — starting from what they can actually do today, not what the grade level assumes.

Children start on the abacus, which turns counting into something they can see and move with their hands. It builds number sense and the habit of holding numbers in their head before they ever meet a worksheet — and it is the reason so many of our students find mental arithmetic easy later on.
This is where the foundation is either built or quietly missed. We work through addition and subtraction facts until they are automatic, then multiplication and division, place value, and fractions. A child who is still counting on their fingers in 3rd grade is not behind on 3rd grade work — they are behind on 1st grade work, and that is what we go back and fix.
Fractions, decimals, ratios and percentages, then the shift into pre-algebra: variables, expressions, and solving for an unknown. This is the year range where arithmetic turns abstract and confident students can stumble. We teach the reasoning behind each step rather than one method to memorise, so the skills hold up in Algebra 1.
Lessons reinforce the skills New Jersey schools expect at each grade level, so what your child does with us supports their classroom work and their readiness for state assessments — rather than running as a separate track.
