About Rima

Hello! My name is Ms. Rima and I serve as a Teacher and Branch Manager at Genie Academy.

I believe education is not about gatekeeping—it’s about unlocking.

My mission is to equip students with the tools, confidence, and voice they need to succeed in school and beyond.

Education has been at the forefront of my life, and I look forward to inspiring the next generation of game changers!

I hold a B.A in Political Science with a minor in Public Health from Rutgers University, a M.A. in Global Policy and the United Nations with a concentration on Human Rights, Conflict Resolution and Negotiations, and Counter-Terrorism from Rutgers University, as well as a J.D. (Doctorate in Law) from Delaware Law School. I also carry past teaching experience at higher education levels including, Rutgers University (European Healthcare) and at Delaware Law School as (Teaching Assistant - Dignity Law Clinic), and CLE keynote speaker. (Continuing Legal Education Key-Note Speaker/Presenter).

My passion for education came from an early age, when my parents instilled in me the value and importance of education. I hope I too, can motivate and inspire each and every student I encounter, to share my love for learning.

Aside from teaching, my hobbies include spending time with my family, my wonderful parents, my awesome little sister, and my fur babies Ace and LJ! In my free time, I also enjoy playing tennis and basketball. Any other time I have left is spent cooking or oil painting.

My mission as a Coach and a Branch Manager is to show every child the potential that they have in them.
